• Manager's first and last name
• Business email address
• Phone number (optional)
• Chosen plan and free-text message

1.2 When using the service

• Email address and password (authentication)
• Vehicle registration plates
• Mileage readings and notes
• Vehicle photos (taken by the user)
• Connection logs (date, time, IP address)

1.3 Payment data

Card data is processed directly by Stripe Inc. (PCI-DSS certified). ADKSOFT Ltd does not store any card details.

2. Purposes of Processing

• Handling access requests — legal basis: legitimate interest
• Providing the CheckAuto service — legal basis: performance of contract
• Billing and subscription management — legal basis: legal obligation
• Service improvement — legal basis: legitimate interest
• Security and fraud prevention — legal basis: legitimate interest

3. Sub-processors & Transfers

ADKSOFT Ltd uses the following sub-processors:

• Google Firebase (Google LLC) — authentication, database, photo storage. Servers in Europe (europe-west1). Safeguards: EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Stripe Inc. — online payment. PCI-DSS certified. Safeguards: EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Formspree Inc. — contact form processing. US-based servers. Safeguards: EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Infomaniak Network SA — website hosting. Servers in Switzerland (adequate country under UK GDPR).

4. Retention Periods

• Contact form data: 3 years from last contact
• Account data: duration of subscription + 30 days after cancellation
• Vehicle photos and records: duration of subscription + 30 days after cancellation
• Billing data: 7 years (statutory accounting obligation)
• Connection logs: 12 months

5. Your Rights (UK GDPR)

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the following rights:

• Right of access — obtain a copy of your data
• Right to rectification — correct inaccurate data
• Right to erasure — request deletion of your data (subject to conditions)
• Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured format
• Right to object — object to certain processing activities
• Right to restriction — restrict processing of your data

6. Cookies

The checkauto.uk website uses only strictly necessary technical cookies for service operation (authentication session). No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are set.

The CheckAuto app (PWA) uses local storage (IndexedDB) for offline functionality. This data remains on your device and is not shared.

7. Security

ADKSOFT Ltd implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data: TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest on Firebase Storage, JWT token authentication, and data access controlled by Firebase security rules.
